The aim of Discreetly Fit is to empower women of all ages to achieve lasting pelvic floor health, so the program combines the following key components:

As a result of this effective combination, Discreetly Fit can help women to:

  • Prevent pelvic floor weakness, birthing injuries and recurring problems after surgery.
  • Reverse pelvic floor weakness associated problems, e.g., bladder accidents, frequent/urgent need to use the bathroom, difficulty controlling wind, mild/moderate prolapse, weakness following surgery/childbirth, lack of sexual sensation and haemorrhoids.
  • Improve overall pelvic floor health, fertility, the effects of menopause and stabilise serious pelvic floor problems (e.g., severe prolapse).

The Discreetly Fit Space
We understand that intimate health can be a sensitive and embarrassing topic. Many women don’t seek help for these reasons. To help you to get through this barrier, throughout our programs your privacy is well respected and the atmosphere is light and relaxed. All courses are restricted to eight participants so you can enjoy both group learning and personalised attention. There is no examination involved and sharing your story with other participants is optional.

Discreetly Fit Pelvic Floor Short Course
This short course runs over two sessions and it is designed to teach you how to train, protect, and heal your pelvic floor. During the course we will cover the following:

  • An effective exercise routine to keep your pelvic floor muscles in top shape
During the course you will learn a four-month long pelvic floor strengthening routine, using different types of Kegel exercises. The Discreetly Fit exercise sequence is personalised, non-equipment based, easy to do and only takes 5 minutes/day in the comfort of your home. You will also learn how to maintain the strength of your pelvic floor muscles for life with a shorter low maintenance routine. In addition, you will be shown various exercises that can be done anytime during the day, wherever you are. Pregnant ladies also receive an after-delivery pelvic floor rebuild exercise plan.
  • To Know Thyself is to Know the Way
We take a glimpse into the female body. This is the only way to be fully effective in protecting the health of the pelvis. We review the structure of the bony pelvis, the pelvic floor muscles and their functions, and the positioning of the pelvic organs. You will also increase your understanding of deteriorative forces that impact on this area.
  • Protective Female Posture
You will be introduced to a female-specific posture. This posture is a powerful tool to maintain/improve the correct positioning of the pelvic organs and an efficiently functioning pelvic floor.
  • Tips for a Pelvic Floor Protective Lifestyle
Through simple lifestyle tips you will discover which old habits are harmful to the muscles of the pelvis and its organs, and why. You will also learn different techniques to avoid bladder accidents during everyday activities.
  • Instructions for self examination
It is important to know your normal intimate anatomy. If you understand enough about your body, you can recognise when something goes wrong. Early detection of problems (sometimes without symptoms) is crucial to avoid serious health consequences. Actively participating in your health care and learning to self examine is a smart choice. Furthermore, if you are more in tune with your body you can love, respect and protect it better, as well as achieve a healthier sex life for you and your partner.

Meet Kathi Janssens
Kathi was a national level gymnast in Hungary during her teens. Following her career in gymnastics, she became a professional theatrical dancer and performed in various productions internationally. Shortly after her family moved to Australia, she begin a career in the Fitness Industry. Although she has a bachelor degree in business management, she spent the past 20 years working as a fitness club manager, international presenter and personal trainer with special focus on rehabilitative exercise. For six years, Kathi was also intensively involved with international competitive aerobics, at first as a competitor and later as a coach. For three years she worked for the Dubai Police General Head Quarters for His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. There, she was employed as The Program Coordinator to set up the Sports and Physical Fitness Program which she ran for the whole of the United Arab Emirates.

After the joyful birth of her daughter, Kathi’s attention turned from general fitness to women’s health. She became acutely aware of the need to take care of the hidden part of the female body – the pelvic floor. She soon realised that changes that affect the pelvic floor following pregnancy and child birth could be permanent and would actually deteriorate with additional pregnancies and inevitable ageing – unless specific action is taken to reverse the weakness.

During her search for answers Kathi was very surprised to see just how common pelvic floor weakness is for the majority of women across all age groups, and stunned by the lack of effective information to help.

Since 2004 Kathi has dedicated her professional career to encourage women to tackle pelvic floor weakness and share “the secrets” of lifelong intimate fitness. She based Discreetly Fit on the latest information from around the world and the traditional and safe Kegel exercises. These are combined with her many years of experience and knowledge as a health and fitness professional.

Kathi offers her information with love and joy and she is deeply grateful for the opportunity to help women to positively influence their future quality of life.

"May the sun bring you new energy by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night,
May the rain wash away your worries,
May the breeze blow new strength into your being.
May you walk gently through the world
and know its beauty all the days of your life."
